Found out that the video links from yesterday’s post weren’t working for everyone. So I guess we’ll just go link style on the videos. Click here for the travel day footage, and here for a video of the gypsy church service.
And, as promised, here’s some of Marty’s work from the gig at the group home a couple days ago…
This next shot is of Julian, a gypsy pastor from a town we’ll be heading to on Tuesday called Bacau. He’s been sitting in with us at some of the gigs.
This last shot is from last night’s gig in the park. It turns out that the “city-wide gathering” takes place city-wide, so our audience was pretty liquid. Pastor Adrian and a team from his church were there having conversations with the crowd while we played, and Pastor Adrian translated for Jason as he introduced and explained some of our songs.
We’ve reached the end of the countdown and we leave for Romania tomorrow! Here’s a couple prayer requests as we prepare for departure…
1) We are bringing a lot of equipment with us, which these days makes for potential problems with the airlines and additional fees and what not. We are giving all those details to the Lord and trusting him. “Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you” Psalm 55:22
2) Our first day of travel is a big one. We are asking the Lord for strength, endurance, and safety. “According to your days, so shall your strength be” Deut 33:25
We played yesterday at the New Hope Church annual “Corner Cookout” and really had a blast. New Hope invited us to play as background music for their community outreach event as a way to also help raise awareness among New Hope attendees for the Romania trip. We were so encouraged at the outpouring of support and encouragement from the New Hope family. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi!
we are at the dublin airport. i have 50 seconds to finish this. we are heading home! the trip has been such a blessing. thanks for your prayers.
Here are a few pics from our last 2 concerts in London. It has been a great joy to partner with Freedom House Church and Trinity Baptist Church for these outreach events.

We combined hip-hop and jazz on this song (Shai, Esso, and the Jason Harms Sextet) – outreach concert sponsored by Freedom House Church at the Boston Dome, London.
…to the Glory of God.
